Mckinna + Mike
A November wedding that still carried with it all the charm of fall. This Manitoba wedding took my breath away over and over again. From the ranch-inspired details, to the rich colour scheme, to the crisp November air- each and every little thing complimented the day perfectly.
Joanie & Chris
Exploring our beautiful Melville, Saskatchewan never gets old for me. There are just so many hidden treasure locations to capture images at. Joanie and Chris came to me early this winter in need of a pick-me-up session. We spent the afternoon laughing together, and they enjoyed some much needed quality time under our prairie sky.
Taylor + Owen
This beautiful fall wedding in Preeceville, Saskatchewan was one for the books! The colours, the genuine laughter, and the fun that was had truly made this day remarkable.
Kelly + Nathan
It was an honour to be invited to witness and capture this Yorkton, Saskatchewan wedding alongside Kelly, Nathan, and all of their closest family and friends. The St.Mary’s Church is truly breathtaking, and the fall colours made for a dream background for the portraits later in the day.
Stephanie & Sheldon
The most perfect Yorkton fall wedding award goes to! Every detail of this wedding was timelessly curated to reflect Stephanie and Sheldon’s connection to one another, and to their families. It was an honour to capture, and a pleasure to work alongside these two.
Mackenzie & Chris
Sessions in the Fort Qu’Appelle Valley are beautiful at any time of the year, but especially so in the fall. The warm colours pepper the valley creating a patchwork quilt of fall. Mackenzie, Chris and I soaked the last of it up during this session. We wandered to some of my favourite spots and created these magical images to celebrate their engagement.
The Kriegers’
What. A. Day. This was my first wedding at Rustic Acres, Melville’s newest wedding venue, and it surely did not disappoint. Trenna and Aarin celebrated their day in the most candid and natural way possible. The day was family-focused, surrounded by nature, and overflowing with love and passion.
Charlie + Logan
From engagement, to wedding, to maternity, to newborn sessions - I have truly been there through so many milestones with these two. Watching their story unfold has been nothing short of a pleasure.
The Thurston Family
I have been lucky enough to capture many milestones for this family, but this one had to be my favourite. They invited me into their home to capture their first few moments as a family of three. We moved slow, as newborn sessions always run on “baby time”, and were able to capture so many beautiful little snippets of their day to day.
Jodi + Glenn
This engagement session was so wonderful to capture. Jodi snagged one of my last August openings, which allowed us to explore golden fields just before they were harvested. Sessions at this time of the year are arguably my favourite!
Sunflower Sessions
This year I grew my own sunflower field and was lucky enough to capture photos within it throughout the summer! This will definitely be a regular event now, and I look forward to capturing many more folks enjoying the field for years to come.
Thea & Jordan
My favourite type of sessions usually take place at family farms. Wandering wheat fields, seeing where all the hard work takes place, hearing the stories that surround old pieces of equipment; that’s my idea of a great session. Thanks so much to Thea and Jordan for having me out.
Ashley & Austin
Weddings that happen in our little slice of heaven, Melville, Sask, will always have a special place in my heart. I was honoured to capture this rustic and charming day alongside Ashley, Austin, and all of their closest people. I have had the pleasure of capturing these two for many years, and that made being part of their wedding day all the more special.
Laurissa & Brandon
Laurissa and Brandon’s wedding marked my first time ever visiting Outlook, Sask. It came with beautiful views, stunning venues, and a whole lot of kind folks. It was an honour to travel out and capture these memories for Laurissa and Brandon.
Jina & Dennis
A classic small-town country wedding in Lemberg, Saskatchewan. It was an honour to be invited to share these moments with Jina, Dennis, and all their closest friends and family. Their love story is one of the most heartfelt and sincere ones I have ever been part of.
Ashley & Chad
A stunning wedding nestled in the heart of the Saskatchewan prairies. Ashley and Chad’s family and friends showered them with love, and it shined through in every last detail of their day. So grateful to have been able to capture these moments with them.
Brandi & Emmitt
Photographing this pair is always such an honour. They are so kind, and the love they have for one another truly radiates through their images. We explored Emmitt’s family farm near Preeceville, Saskatchewan during this session.
Holly & Sean
There’s not enough words to describe how truly beautiful, heartfelt, and sincere this day was. I was honoured to be invited to be part of it. We trekked up to the beautiful East Blue Lake in Manitoba for Holly and Sean’s day. They surrounded themselves with their closest family and friends, and shared moments in all the spots that held meaning for them.
Katie & Paul
Katie and Paul got married by the same father that married Katie’s parents, and baptized Katie and Paul’s child. This ceremony was intimate and special, because the father was set to retire soon, and Katie and Paul did not want to miss out on having him marry them. There were a total of 12 of us at the ceremony, and Katie and Paul hosted their family and friends at their farm to celebrate afterwards.
Kozmaniuk Family
One of my favourite things about spring is all the fresh blooms that encase our parks and prairies. This sweet family and I explored one of my favourite parks in Yorkton and took advantage of the pink blossoms.
I’m not in it to stage a perfect moment. That’s not me - never has been.
I’m in this industry to capture authentic moments as they unfold.
That’s what I promise to do during your session. I don’t promise to stage you and pose you until ever last finger and toe look “right.”
But I do promise to seek out the perfect moments happening organically around you, and to preserve them in time.
That’s my job. That’s what I’m here for.
